Peggy Lovecchio, DDS
Dr. Love, as she is known, enjoys working with children and families. In particular, she enjoys treating children who need a little extra attention. She believes that quality, long-term oral health starts when you are very young, and by treating children, she is able to put them on the right track to enjoy many years of beautiful smiles with friends and family. She also realizes that not everyone is excited to see the dentist. At Love Family Dentistry, we strive to not only provide the best quality dentistry, but we also believe you should be seen in a calm and friendly environment.
Dr. Love not only is trained in the many common dental procedures, such as fillings, crowns, and dentures, but is also trained in more advanced procedures, such as the use of dental lasers, six-month braces, and oral sedation. She continuously strives to broaden her knowledge base to provide the best-quality care to her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Love enjoys spending time with her loving husband and four children. She also enjoys painting and has some of her artwork displayed in the office. She also believes in giving back to the community. Dr. Love has done this by giving her time for the Mission of Mercy and volunteering for an educational program at schools.
Dr. Love is a 2007 graduate of Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN. She also attended the University of Buffalo, where she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in biochemical pharmacology. Dr. Love and her family relocated to the beautiful Roanoke Valley in 2008 from Utica, NY. In New York, she worked as a certified ceramic dental technician for 17 years prior to dental school.
